The Parade

Oakland Pride Parade is a vibrant, high-energy kickoff to the day’s celebration. Marching through Downtown Oakland on August 16, 2026, the parade brings together community groups, organizations, performers, and leaders in a powerful display of Pride and unity. From creative floats to grassroots contingents, every part of the parade reflects the spirit of Oakland. The route will run through the heart of downtown and conclude near the festival grounds at Frank H. Ogawa Plaza.

Route: Grand Avenue → Broadway → Frank Ogawa Plaza/City Hall.
