Ways to Give

Thank you for showing your commitment to homebound seniors in Alameda County by considering making a gift. SOS Meals on Wheels has served our older neighbors since 1966, and is the largest direct provider of meal delivery to seniors in Alameda County.

There are many ways to help us put resources to work in service of helping our neighbors stay healthy, remain cared-for, and age in place. Please reach out to us at development@sosmow.org or call our Director of Development at 510.582.1263 ext. 113 if you would like to give in a way that is not listed below.

  • Make an online donation using your credit or debit card, bank account, ACH, or new Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal options. To make a gift, click here.

  • Send us a check made out to SOS Meals on Wheels. Checks can be sent to 2235 Polvorosa Avenue #260, San Leandro, CA 94577.

  • Give through a Donor Advised Fund by recommending a gift to SOS. To give easily using our online form, choose a one-time gift amount and use DAFpay as your payment method at checkout. If you go directly through your fund administrator, please remember to use our full name—SOS Meals on Wheels—as you designate your beneficiary, or look us up by our Tax-ID number: 94-1725204.

  • Give directly through your bank. If you would like to give using ACH or wire transfer directly from your bank, reach out to us at development@sosmow.org and we’ll send you our wiring instructions.

  • Double your donation if your employer offers a gift-matching program. You will find an option to see whether your employer matches after you make a gift using our online form.

  • Donate your vehicle — running or not. We accept cars, trucks, RVs, boats and more. To learn more, visit this page or call 855-500-7433.
